It’s been very difficult for me to keep this site updated and respond to message recently. My apologies to anyone who has been trying to contact me recently.

A lot of stuff going on recently which made me remember that I hadn’t mentioned ReRave Arcade on this site yet. (sheesh – too many things to keep update these days!)

I can’t emphasize how excited we are about ReRave Arcade!

Do you Remember In The Groove, In The groove 2 and Pump It Up Pro 1? Well if you enjoyed those titles you are likely to be excited about this one as well. Finally – working on another arcade based project!

We will be demoing the game at IAAPA 2011 in Orlando with our partners Coast to Coast Entertainment and Chris Cotty. Our team is working hard building a lot of features that users have enjoyed from the mobile version. Be sure to keep an eye out on www.rerave.com for updates

Step Evolution announces plans for ReRave Arcade. ReRave Arcade will be a collaboration between Coast to Coast Entertainment, Chris Cotty and the members who developed successful titles such as In The Groove and Pump It Up Pro. Chris is also responsible for the realization of notable titles: DJ Max Technika, and Friction.

ReRave combines music rhythm, as well as accuracy, to create a patent pending and innovative experience that is fun and challenging for all ages and skill levels. Game-play breaks the barrier of old fashioned “scrolling” and “matching symbols” that are typically found in rhythm games. Revolutionary movement is the name of the game!

ReRave is the first music interaction/reaction based entertainment title to feature a 42 inch multiplayer touchscreen and a global interactive ranking network.
We are excited about ReRave’s Arcade introduction and hope you will be too!

ReRave will be available at IAAPA 2011 in Orlando Florida for show attendees to check out for the first time. Be sure to stop by the Coast to Coast Entertainment booth and check it out!

ReRave reaches #1 iPAD music game in Japan!

ReRave is off to a great start! In just a week of time we’ve already achieved what was never thought possible. You can get the game HERE

ReRave has reached number 1 Music Game iPAD status on the Apple App store in Japan and is currently 4th grossing Music game. (as of 3/26/2011)

ReRave is being featured in 3 different categories: Games (overall) , Games (Music) , Games (Top Paid)

This is actually a very outstanding accomplishment to have in almost 1 week after the game release. We have OVER 2,000 registered users in Game Center! The release continues to build as we share excitement from our past involvement with In The Groove, Pump It Up Pro, and Positive Gaming iDance2. We never thought we’d see the day of success in Japan. It’s a great feeling to see and a reminder that hard work does pay off. WOOOOO!

In addition to the Japanese success we’ve accomplished other notable charts such as #1 iPAD in USA and even top grossing in other countries. All of these small successes continue to build and help spark our development in both Amusement and Android platforms that we hope to announce at a later date. We hope to have more advancement in these areas soon and will keep everyone updated. Big thanks to all of our friends and family who have supported us along the way with this HUGE project. It’s nice to see the world starting to respond so well!

The Imminent “Future”

Recently posted to my facebook and certainly applicable to what is to come…

What?

It’s fun for me to see what “ITG” & “Stepmania” players have accomplished in step sequences from the original “mine” and “rolls” concepts back in the ITG development days. I guess it was actually a good idea eh? There was a time in the past when people were negative at these innovations… Glad to see the times have now changed!

Every person in the community is responsible for making it what it is… People will always continue to innovate and change the future that sometimes deviates from what others envision before us.

The exciting part of being an “innovator” is sitting back and seeing people thrive off these original ideas… You can’t possibly describe how amazing it is to see something change the future and mark a standard for people globally.

I’m extremely excited to soon be able to bring another “spark” that could excite people and impact the market once again. The days of my excitement are hard to contain as this new “innovation” comes to light.

I’m not trying to create “hype” or an empty promise by my words – I’m just extremely excited to be doing my part to keep the “rhythm game” community migrating thriving into the future.

James Ko leaves Andamiro USA to form “Pipeline Games Inc”

My condolences to Mr. James Ko and Andamiro USA - Recently, Ko announced that he was leaving Andamiro USA to focus on his new coin-op amusement company, ” Pipeline Games INC”

I wish you the best with your new venture Mr. Ko! - Thank you for the support that you gave to the In The Groove series in 2005 and Pump it Up Pro 1 in 2007.

New Pump Pro Website

We’ve recently upgraded Pump It Up Pro’s website. We hope this new interface will help improve the support system for owners who have purchased a Pump Pro Machine. You can see it live HERE

In addition to this site, we are also in the process of setting up a player “wiki” so that players can enter information about Pump Pro and help other community members with information about PIU Pro.

PIU Pro 2008 Las Vegas Tournament Aftermath

The first annual PIU Pro tournament was held in Las Vegas on September 13 at the Las Vegas Marriot.

The tournament followed the AMOA trade show and was ran in our new “Iron Man” format. The tournament tested skills in all aspects of Pump Pro game play. The competition was fierce and a big congratulation goes out to all of the competitors. The final results were as follows:

Pump It Up Pro @ ASI 2008 – Las Vegas, NV

Chris Foy and I will be present at the 2008 Amusement Showcase International. This years show will be presented in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall S1. The show dates are March 27th – March 29th 2008.

If you are a local pump player, we welcome you to the show floor. Please come by and see us at the Andamiro USA Booth. As usual, we’ll be helping display Pump It Up Pro and Pump It Up NX2. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!

(UPDATE 3-24-08)- I’ve been notified that this will be the first year that the ASI show will open up it’s doors to Las Vegas locals on Saturday. YES, you can get in for free on Saturday!

ATEI 2008 – Aftermath

I’m pleased to say that the ATEI 2008 show went very well this year. Thanks goes out to all the UK players and locals I met. London is incredible place!

Pump it up Pro @ ATEI 2008 Expo
