It’s just what ITG players said before, Konami isn’t going to do well with their DDR series games. If i was Konami, i’d stop trying to make the perfect DDR game. It’s a waste of time and money. But since they have alot of money, they don’t care. In The Groove will always be the best game Roxor Games has created and it will surpass any DDR dance game. Only if the ITG fans got together (i’m serious) and protest and send a message to Konami headquaters in Japan, saying, who the hell gives you the right to terminate a UNITED STATES game. It wasn’t made in your country so it’s not yours. It’s our version dance game. You don’t see automakers sueing each other for having similar SUVs or cars do you? We have the right to compete with your DDR game whether it looks the same or not. That’s what business is about. Whether we ITG players succeed or not in trying to release future ITG games, it’s better to start fighting now than later before KONAMI starts taking over our US games. Who’s with me??

P.S I read the case between Konami and Roxor games settlement so don’t repeat yourselfs.

Ya I looked over the PDF also, But I really think pro is a step in the right way. The FX cabnet is more cutting edge then konami will ever put out. Along with a true to life dance fell that you get when you play freestyle on pump or pro, I know roxor really haves no ties with pro. But I can’t help but think that they had there hands in the mix at some point.

Whoo! Long live ITG! It’s nice to know it won’t be forgotten. PIU Pro should keep the ITG spirit alive!

OFFTOPIC Also, I like the new jukebox/ songs… and where are the forums? :P

@ Emanuel Rios:

Sorry to say that Konami of Japan wasn’t involved in the situation, just the American counterpart. Yeah, the ones that are sitting around publishing bad release after bad release for the North American market. Konami of Japan knows what’s up, and I don’t think the same action would have been taken.

But that’s all in the past and unchangeable totally.

Hottest Party is a hilariously bad release, and I’m never going to get enough of the song list and charts. *barf*

Sorry to say, KOJ is the one who produced Hottest Party. It was a co-lab between step artists in the US and Japan. KOJ did all the programming and such, just not 100% of the steps.

The next question will be, will andamiro fund another world festival for pro? Also are they going to keep pro on the same track as they have with zero and NX, And now NX2. Will there be a pro2 11 month’s after pro first went national? I know alot of your tried and true pump players consider pro not the same, That is why I was wondering if andamiro had plains for its own world festival or even on a national level like the U.S. Festival.

Yes some of us “tried and true pump players” don’t like PRO but a good portion do… It is different but it stays away from becoming like Konami’s DDR releases… ITG and Pump PRO like main series Pump it Up have something in common, they’ve always introduced something new. With DDR you get nothing new outside of music with some generic steps or broken rushed things (with the exception of Ultramix 2) but for the most part the series has been static.

Where DDR gave you nothing new to play besides new music Pump it Up and ITG have thrown in new play styles, modifiers and more to keep the games fresh.

The funny thing is Konami has no issue with throwing new content in their other music games.

Why is Konami only attacking In The Groove when there is other dance games, besides Pump It Up, I went to Gamestop on Monday and I saw five different dance games and sometimes I wonder “why does’nt Konami go after these publishers?” Hmm… I think In The Groove is still the best dance game in the world and it should come back to the market with its finished In The Groove 3. Is Konami affraid that it may no longger be the king of the dancing industry? Konami is in a monopoly here, it wants to the the greatest at everything, especially in the dance/music industry. Are Japanese companies going to take over American companies in the future?
Pretty soon the Konami Empire is going to be everywhere and everthing we play in video games. Pump It Up and In The Groove are the best dancing games by far.

Well DDR was getting alot of competition with ITG . I hate the fact that the song eturnus which was made from other people to be played in ITG then they made it for DDR. Also you have more of a chance to play more variety of songs in ITG and also have a chance to play your own steps , and ITG could be hacked and well when people hack it they put in all DDR mixies ,so thats why Konami was botty tight. Also that songs they made from Beatmania , Guitar Freaks , ECT could be gotten and made to play in ITG. I love i ITG i just started playing i’ve been playing for 2 months . I used to play DDR and was getting bored i played Supernova at an arcade and i AA every song ,but a B on Faxx , then i heard about ITG and i fell in love better step charts more stream and more anime opening songs.
