PIU Pro 07 Show Aftermath October 1, 2007

Posted by Kyle Ward in : News, Pump It Up Pro , trackback

The shows went very well for Pump Pro. It is my understanding that USPF also went very well in Chicago. Great job everyone!

Chris Foy and I gear up for Vegas!

There was a lot of interest over Pump It Up Pro. It was a pleasure to talk with all the amusement operators and local Las Vegas Pump Players. Several machines were sold and we can expect the family of locations to continue growth. (This includes other countries outside the USA as well!)

Things also went well with the new Pump Pro fitness demo at LIW 2007. Pump Pro fitness has been developed for health organizations wanting to benefit from Pro’s feature list with added portability. Unlike anything developed before, It’s very easy and fun to use for all levels of play. Here are preview pictures of the Sportwall presentation.

Wait…is that THREE different charts being played at the same time? Looks pretty nice.

Just for the record, are your goals for Pump Pro the same as what was expected for ITG? To boost the community?

Glad to hear promoting Pro went well, I look forward to seeing more Pro machines. I’ve been talking to a lot of Pump players who are curious but wary of Pro and I think it would be great to have an integrated, unified Pump community that uses BOTH official Korean Pump mixes, as well as plays and supports Pro. I’m really curious as to how the competitive/tournament Pro community will turn out and I look forward to participating in competitive events.

I was at USPF and it went very well. A lot of players proceeded to check out Pro at the Brunswick Zone Naperville location afterwards so I definitely think that a unified community is in reach! :)

Jbean -

Yes, a new design for all levels of players. These pads have also been specially designed for this software.

Bryan -

Yes, it is my intention to give the community something new to play/enjoy. It is a hope to provide people with a new 5 panel experience, they might not have had an opportunity to explore before.

Sujay -

Pump Pro’s design will compliment the existing classic pump line with additional aspects. It is our current hope that both can live happily together. With awareness of the Pump PRO line, hopefully new products will be announced that will benefit followers of each pump series.

I’m glad to hear that everyone had a great time at USPF in Chicago this past weekend. Please be sure to forward any of your comments & concerns about the PRO series, this could benefit future development!
Pro has been expanding since it’s release in August 2007; more locations have been coming into the light everyday!

Thank you to all players that have given Pump Pro a chance thus far; I hope we can help exceed your expectations as the series continues to grow.

It looked like tons of fun! I wish i could’ve gone…but i had other stuff i needed to do…

do all those ZiG ZaGs on the wall mean something? Something I’ve wanted to know forever

Anyways, don’t want to get deep into that. But it also looks like the Andamiro Booth had some retty good things going on there too.

I look forward to the day some place nearby me gets PIU Pro…I’ve always wanted to get into PIU…

Looks kinda hard to play like that.

Guess it doesnt really matter too much since everyone playing looks like newbies that don’t exactly know what they’re doing.

Sorry for double post, but why does the machine’s Green and Red button look revesed? I coulda sworn the machine I played on had the Green button on the top and the Red button on the bottom.

One question.

Would the fitness pad become available on the future or it will only be sold together with the pump fitness, also if the fitness pro ever gets released will it be accesible for everybody or it will only be available to fitness organizations??
