Summer 07 Kicks Off! June 21, 2007

Posted by Kyle Ward in : News , trackback

Wow, where did the time go? It’s been so busy ’round here that I’ve lost track! What’s going on with me these days? A lot!

I’d like to kick off my post by saying that Pump It Up Pro has finally started to make it’s way to the distributor. What does this mean? This means that Pump it Up Pro is now released from the dev team and has gone into production for sales. Please continue to watch for news and an official release date. I hope you enjoy the game as much as the dev team enjoyed developing it. Finally, Pump It Up Pro is here. You can now look forward to dancing your summer away!

With this news comes more excitement. I’ve decided to celebrate PIUPro’s launch by allowing purchase of Urban Comatose for $6.00!!!! Yes that’s right; six bucks and you can now own your own copy of Urban Comatose. I’ve notified all the sellers of this and you should see the pricing become effective immediately.

cd pictureBUY URBAN COMATOSE FOR SIX BUCKS!

How long will this last? Don’t miss out, take advatage of it while you can!!

Studio productions has started heavy for the summer. I’ve outfitted the studio with 3 new instruments! What are they?

1) Korg R3
2) Novation SuperNovaII X48
3) Access Virus TI Polar

I’ve also decided to also ramp up live performances for the summer. Will traveling be included? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Website updates:

I’ve updated the FAQ section of the site. Hopefully this will be more functional and easier for users to understand. There are also plans to update the discography/studio section to reflect recent changes.

More news to come!

Wow, thanks! I was seriously considering buying a copy, but now I’m sold! When you say, “all the sellers,” do you mean that some physical stores sell Urban Comatose? That’d be great, since I’d rather buy from a store than online.

whoa now… that was a huge typo :O Thanks for catching that! (fixed)

UC is available in most stores as an order item if they don’t have it in stock. Just ask them to order it and it’s usually a very easy process. (I guess that depends on the store) heheh

That’s really sweet that you have a TI now. I plan to save for a b or c sometime in the next few years, since I really like the clean bass and aggressive lead sounds they can produce.

Regarding live performances, an all-ages show in the area would certainly be nice.

I’d suggest the B, because you will save several dollars. The main difference in the B to C is is polyphony and a few effect elements. Better yet, if you can find an Indigo (original) that is still a very desired board. The rack/table unit is also very sweet.

Good luck with that! :-)

Kyle, the next time I get six dollars available, I’ll look into buying a copy from you personally. I know some people don’t like what you’re doing for music and dance games, but I consider you a personal HERO. I enjoy your work very much! I’d like to give PIU Pro a play, but the only thing keeping me from doing so is the closest one is in Vancouver and I live in Tacoma. I hope some machines will appear around here, but inevitably, it’s up to the arcade owners to make that decision.

I just bought a copy a UC, but since I live in Canada, it should be here in 2 weeks, but still I can’t wait to get it!

Thank you very much for you nice comments. Ultimately, the demand from players is what will interest an arcade. Want to see PIUPro near you? Just tell whoever is responsible for running your arcade. (lucky for you; in your case that would be Bill Masterman)

Regardless of personal negativity, I’m happy to be part of a project that can benefit players with something “new” to enjoy.

Congrats on the album purchase! Be sure to keep me posted when it arrives. Thank you for your support!

by the way, I’ve been debating ordering your albums for some time now, but as soon as I saw this post I went and ordered Urban Comatose and Synthsations. and then I hunted down a typo. :b Is there any chance we might see a new album with stuff like Ra/Enigma/Virtual Emotion on it?

I’m glad to hear that everything is going well.
Thanks for the update. ;]

Fortunately for me, the machine is at Big Al’s; blessed with Kyle’s knee drops and hand slaps.

I think I might just get the CD. May I purchase it from you personally?

Six dollars? o_o **rushes to buy**

I’m not a regular player of PIU yet but this looks great. Now, if this game ever makes its way to Europe (where I live ^_^ ) I’d be more than interested.
