So I can’t disable the middle pad….Damn?

Disabling the middle panel would be useless as the corner panels are recessed, not the four arrow panels on the DDR/ITG machines.

Are the arrows flat? i cant see from vids….
and are all the same options from ITG there, like hallway, speed mods, and other mods that were in ITG?

Yea, being a pump player myself. This really aggrevates me. The fact that the stepcharts will probably be crap and the grading system is gay. Pump is not meant to be PA’ed. Percentages, WTF.

And is this approved by andamiro to use their songs, logos, stepcharts etc.

I know the guy that runs all this Yhapp and I know if he finds out about this he will be pissed.

I’m going to give this a shot because it looks very promising. I like ITG and I love the 5 panel layout, so I envisino this being. Why complain this game is too much little like either Pump or ITG when it has the potential to be the best of both worlds?

Just to clear some information up that I’m seeing.
(Please feel free to ask me further details if you want more specification)

I understand all the concerns and let me remind you that the machine is beta. Updates are still being made. Please try the product and leave feedback.

Pump It Up Pro Judgments – I understand the concern about attack play . Let me emphasize the fact that the extra “superb” window is NOT extremely tight. IE – Not turning the game into attack based play. It does allow people to have a goal towards accuracy if they choose. In addition to this, the “bad window” has been removed from play.

Why Pump It Up Pro? – This is a branch of the Pump It Up brand. This does not have an effect on the classic Pump It Up that everyone is currently familiar with and loves. This new product line is being developed to satisfy another market.

Pump It Up Pro Music -

- There are additional licensed tracks specifically for PIUPRO.

- Some of the old favorites have made a re-appearance for this game. (some songs that were not in other versions

Pump It Up Pro Grading –

- The grading retains a similar and user friendly scale that people are use to. There is additional information for people who find it beneficial

- Song difficulties have been reformed into a “1-16 block” system. It relates to other versions that people may be familiar with.

- Hold grading has NOT changed: This is only an alpha of the game at this time. Hold judgments are handled in the familiar style. This is not yet implemented in the test location as of now. Please look out for this in the next few days.

- single pad/ double pad play – This is a beta configuration. The machine is able to switch between these modes like peopel are use to from the past.

Pump It Up Pro steps –

I’ve noticed a video surfacing of a few songs. Please don’t judge step data by a few videos. There are several songs with different “styles”.

So far, the test location has been very happy with Pump It Up Pro. It has created a lot of interest and has received a lot of play. If you are able, please try to make it out and give feedback.. PIU is PIU and I dont like the idea of ITG(SM) engine for a PIU game

PIU is awful. I started as a PIU player, and I agree with the other few PIU players that have made their comments. (I’m an ITG player now, don’t worry).

PIU is not made to be PA’d. It’s purely a combo game, considering some of the stepcharts are ridiculously difficult to manuever (some are just retarded).

It seems like the dancing community is heading in a downward spiral because of Konami’s greed and other failed hopes. I’m rather upset.

As an addon to my last post, the only way I won’t be upset with PIUPRO is:

1. The stepcharts are ITG quality, NOT PIU quality. Stepcharts like Dignity Crazy and Love Is A Danger Zone Crazy are absolutely retarded. Dignity had stupid triples and the retarded M run. LIADZ had this huge run that was pretty much impossible to do without double stepping like an idiot. If they are human like ITG’s, I’ll be very satisified.

2. Regardless of my “Pump should be combo, not PA” comment, if the timing system is changed so the timing window is tighter, I’ll be happy. The PIU timing windows were HUGE.

3. Pump had better music than DDR, but ITG blew both of them out of the water by miles. If some great ITG-like music is in PIUPRO, I’ll be happy. It seems like anything but the Banya channel was retarded. K-pop and pop for the loss.

Oh, and one last thing.

4. Make it so combos don’t make a difference in points or percentage grade. Combo isn’t impressive.
