The JP has been in my eyes for awhile. There are quite a few synths that have "special" sounds and personality that cannot be duplicated. Obviously, this is a huge debate that never stops. However, after you work with more with some of them, you start to understand and appreciate them more. The Yamaha DX7, Roland JX3p, Novation Supernova, Access Virus, and Nord lead(s), and moogs are all true to this philosophy. These boards have also been in eyes and will be picked up as the studio grows! Glad you enjoy your JP, it is quite a unique synth to have. Truely a history investment. I now actually own 2 of them for performance and studio work! :)

Merry Xmas!

The Roland JP-8080 makes some beautiful sounds, that's for sure... I got one back in September and it's been very inspirational. Guitar will never die in rock and the supersaw will never die in trance. It's overused because it's awesome. Can't wait too hear what you make with your new gear.

Ah, new synths. That's a feeling I know well, as I just got my first one! A simple Korg TR-61, but wonderfully fun. I'm happy for you, and I'm really tempted to see your studio. I think I'd zomg. Good luck with your new tunes, and I'm glad to see you're still "around" after what happened with ItG (R.I.P.?). I hope your ideas come to fruition. :)

Congratulations on the new success Kyle, it was only a matter of time before your music got on TV. If you have any info on where it is appearing, I for one would be very interested! Prehaps someone can youtube it...

Can't wait for the new songs. Keep us posted!
